Black River Steaks

We use beef aged to perfection. Then we hand-trim and marinate our steaks to ensure extra tenderness.

Each steak is individually vacuum packed and quick frozen to guarantee freshness.

Ingredients:

Beef • Water • Seasoning (salt, sugars [dextrose, maltodextrin], onion, garlic, soy sauce powder [wheat, soy, salt], modified corn starch, flavour, spices and spice extracts, sodium diacetate, lactose [milk], papain [sulphites]) • Seasoning (dehydrated garlic, spices, salt, canola oil, citric acid, dehydrated red bell pepper) • Salt • Spice.

Cooking Instructions:

  • For best results, thaw steaks in their package in refrigerator for approximately 4 hours or overnight.
  • Remove steaks from plastic packaging.
  • Season with steak spice before, during or after cooking.
  • Let steak rest for 1-2 minutes before serving.
  • Cook to internal temperatures in chart below.

Rare: 5-7 Minutes
Medium Rare: 7-9 Minutes
Medium: 10-12 Minutes
Medium Well: 12-14 Minutes

Frying Pan

Heat 1 tsp cooking oil in a non-stick fry pan over medium high heat. Cook steak, turning once or twice.

Cooking Time
Rare: 5-7 Minutes
Medium Rare: 7-9 Minutes
Medium: 9-10 Minutes
Medium Well: 10-12 Minutes
Well Done: 12-14 Minutes

Cook on pre-heated electric grill set at medium high.

Rare: 2-3 Minutes
Medium Rare: 3 Minutes
Medium: 3-4 Minutes
Medium Well: 5-6 Minutes
